FAQ
Where do you shoot your sessions?
I love doing my sessions outdoors. Anywhere that reflects your personality or your family. From beach to urban. You have the freedom to choose a location that is within 25 miles from Bay Village (a 58 cent per miles fee will apply outside of that ). Or if you do not have any specific locations I can recommend areas that will fit your style.
What should I wear?
I recommend coordinating, not matching outfits. Neutrals or soft colors look best outdoors. If you want to add a pop of color that works well too. No logos on shirts or too much patterns, unless that is your personality. An easy way to dress your family is take the youngest and put them in a pattern. Pull 2-3 colors from that pattern and dress the others in coordinating colors. Feel free to email me a photo of your outfits for suggestions.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Of corse. You may not need it, but if the session goes past 15+ minutes, I will start charging an extra $10 per 5 minutes. (But I have never had this happen before)
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes. Throughout the year I may offer a special type of mini session, like for Christmas. If you need just a photo or two. Just contact me and we can schedule something just for you.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No. But if you want professional quality photos, I highly recommend you ordering through me. I also have a Instagram Story showing examples of photos on how they will look like.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
BOOKING POLICY:
There is a $50 session fee that is non-refundable if session is cancelled. The session fee is due at booking to secure the date and time of your session. I recommend booking 2-4 weeks before your desired date to plan your session. If the need arises to re-schedule due to health, a sick child, death in the family or severe weather, you can re-schedule up to 30 days of your original date without losing your session fee. Booking a session with Melinda Szerencsy Photography is an investment. Session times may vary, there is not a set time frame due to the lifestyle nature of the sessions.
PRINTS & DIGITAL:
All packages include digital files that you can download online. You will get an online viewing for ordering prints & products. High quality prints starting at $3, every print you purchase comes with the digital file. Additional digital files start at $5 from the original package you booked. SESSIONS THAT ARE OFFERED:
Specializing in on-location lifestyle portraits for seniors, portraits, couples, families, and children. Families include up to 10 people. Sessions can be held outdoors at a recommended location, at your home or farm. My services does NOT include births, corporate events or weddings.
HOW TO BOOK:
Booking is simple, just click on our BOOK ONLINE tab at the top of our page and it will bring you to the online contract. Sessions are held Monday, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Mid-week sessions are held during late afternoon till dusk. Saturday sessions are booked in the morning hours and hour after sunrise, mid-afternoon or during the evening hours about an hour or two before sunset.
AFTER THE SESSION:
After the session it will take 7-14 days total to process your images. You can choose an online viewing gallery or schedule an in-home consultation for me to go over pricing with you and help you find what looks best on your walls (this is optional, but I know that it can be hard to actually print out your own photos once getting the digital files). The consultation is free if you place an order.
REFERRALS:
I love referrals. If you refer me to a friend or family member and they mention your name at the time of booking, you will receive a $25 gift card of your choice (session, prints or digital files) from Melinda Szerencsy Photography as a Thank You for your love and support!
